Getting Started:

Your first steps to learning Multiples in Motion will be one step at a time. Begin by choosing Multiples Menu with Instructions from the DVD main menu. Select the multiples set you want to learn first. One of the featured students will slowly demonstrate the motions for the song. However, for the initial viewings you may find it easiest to focus on learning the lyrics. As you become comfortable with the lyrics, add the motions. Once you feel ready, learn the next song.

Multiples in Motion was designed for use in a classroom like the one in the video. At the beginning of some of the songs, you will hear a voice call for an “arm-check” or a “leg-check.” This is merely a way of helping the students to space themselves far enough apart to avoid any unnecessary contact.

As you learn Multiples in Motion, you will find that you no longer need the instructions. Finally, you will be able to choose Play All without Instructions from the DVD main menu and you will have a fun warm-up activity that takes less than 10 minutes to complete.

DVD Instructions:

From the Main Menu, you may choose one of the four options: Play All with Instructions, Play All without Instructions, Multiples Menu with Instructions, or Multiples Menu without Instructions. The Multiples Menu options take you to another menu from which you can select any of the multiples you want to sing with or without instructions.
